Drugs often used for diabetics
Amitriptylin [ a mee TRIP ti leen ] A tricyclic antidepressant that works as a serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibiter. Used for pain control and as an antidepressant. Takes several weeks for full effectiveness. Oddly, most discussions of the drug do not mention or discuss its effects on diabetics.
